Mobil Delvac Modern™ 10W-30 Super Defense V2 is formulated to deliver outstanding performance for today’s general-purpose applications. It provides high performance for mid-size diesel and petrol commercial vehicles, including large commercial vehicles and turbocharged or intercooled engines.
This product is compatible with or can be used as a replacement for Mobil Delvac MX 10W-30.
Key features and benefits
Low-emission, high-power diesel engines demand significantly higher performance engine lubricant properties. Smaller engine designs reduce lubricant consumption, resulting in less need for topping up to compensate for depleted additives. The top piston ring, located at the top of the piston, brings the oil film closer to the high-temperature combustion chamber, increasing the thermal stress on the lubricant. Increased fuel injection pressure and delayed engine strokes improve combustion efficiency but increase engine temperature and soot formation.
