Suspension System

Ball Joint

The ball joint is a crucial component connecting the steering knuckle to the control arm. It allows smooth movement in both vertical (up-down) and semi-rotational directions, helping absorb shocks from the suspension system and enabling the wheel to move in response to changing road conditions.

CTR ball joints offer smooth operation and reduced wear thanks to a high-performance polymer ball seat. This design significantly extends service life and provides exceptional impact resistance—up to 46.8 kN.

Stabilizer Link

The stabilizer link is a component connected to the stabilizer bar (anti-roll bar) at both the front and rear of the vehicle. It acts as a joint that absorbs road impact and secures the stabilizer bar in place, helping to reduce body roll and enhance driving comfort—especially during cornering.

CTR stabilizer links are manufactured using lightweight technology, reducing overall vehicle weight while maintaining excellent handling stability. Equipped with a flange hex nut, they allow technicians to install and remove the part more efficiently, saving both time and effort.

Steering System

Rack End

The rack end is a component connected to the steering rack. It transmits the rotational force from the steering wheel into linear motion, allowing the wheels to turn accordingly.

CTR rack ends are designed with a Taper Step shaft, matching the specifications of OEM parts. This design effectively absorbs lateral impacts and helps protect critical steering components, such as the steering rack itself.

Tie Rod End

The tie rod end is a component connected to the steering rack, responsible for converting the steering wheel’s rotational motion into linear movement—allowing the wheels to turn in the desired direction.

CTR tie rod ends are coated with high-grade anti-corrosion treatment to protect against salt mist and acid rain. They are also equipped with extra-thick dust and water seals, which enhance durability and extend service life. This robust design prevents tearing and ensures precise steering response throughout the product’s lifetime.

Control Arm

The control arm is a key suspension component mounted to the wheel hub, using a ball joint as a connector. It allows the control arm to move in coordination with the wheel, adjusting the movement angle and absorbing vibrations from uneven road surfaces to ensure ride comfort and stability.

CTR control arms are made from high-strength new steel, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance with premium anti-rust coating. Each unit comes pre-assembled with a ball joint and control arm bushings, making installation faster and easier for technicians. Backed by CTR’s global manufacturing quality, it ensures lasting performance and peace of mind.
