Which provinces are affected by Typhoon Noru?

From the situation of Typhoon Depression “Noru”

The possible impact may cause sudden flooding and flash floods in various areas. Therefore, GP Auto Parts would like to compile the affected areas as follows:

September 29, 2022

  • Northern Region: Provinces affected include Lamphun, Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun.
  • Northeastern Region: Provinces affected include Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, and Si Sa Ket.
  • Central Region: Provinces affected include Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Suphan Buri, Lopburi, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, as well as Bangkok Metropolitan Region and its surrounding provinces.
  • Eastern Region: Provinces affected include Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
  • Southern Region: Provinces affected include Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun.

  • Northern Region: Provinces affected include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun.
  • Northeastern Region: Provinces affected include Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Buri Ram.
  • Central Region: Provinces affected include Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphan Buri, Lopburi, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and its vicinity.
  • Eastern Region: The affected provinces include Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
  • Southern Region: The affected provinces include Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, and Trang.

For the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, strong winds are expected, with waves reaching heights of 2-3 meters in the upper part of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. In areas with thunderstorms, waves may exceed 3 meters. In the lower part of the Gulf of Thailand, waves are expected to be around 2 meters high, increasing to over 2 meters in areas with thunderstorms. Small boats are advised to refrain from venturing out into the upper part of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand until October 1st, 2022.
